About Me...

 

I believe the counseling relationship should be one where both client and therapist work collaboratively to achieve the client's set goals. I have experience in both Texas and Oklahoma, working previously in private practice, day treatment for eating disorders, school-based therapy, and community mental health. I specialize in serving children, adolescents and adults, along with their support systems, to recover and find hope among the chaos of life.

 

I hold the belief that building upon strengths and fine-tuning self-awareness are of vital importance in the counseling process. I specialize in adolescent and women's issues, with extensive experience in the areas of perinatal (pregnancy) and post-partum mood and adjustment disorders, anxiety/depression, couples & eating disorders. I am very passionate and motivated to help you with these issues, and walk hand-in-hand through past trauma and present hurts to find hope.

 

I have experience in play therapy and expressive arts in addition to traditional talk therapy. When we meet, we will discuss your preferences and concerns in order to find the right approach for you. Christian and faith-based counseling is available upon request. I offer week day and limited evening appointments in South Tulsa. I accept most major health insurance plans, including Medicaid/ Soonercare. Sliding scale (income-based) payment plans available for those without insurance or who prefer to pay out of pocket or through FSA/ HSA plans.
